Community Wide Public Forum from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on School Improvement plan and goal setting for school year 2021- 2022 ALL community members are welcome to have their voices heard. If interested in attending go to Mr. Michel zoom link on PSIS website on June 22.
Special education is specially designed instruction that addresses the unique needs of a student eligible to receive special education services. The student's qualifying disability is determine through an evaluation. The evaluation will be used to write an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) which included individualized instructions to meet the needs of the child. Special education is provided at no cost to parents and includes the related services a student needs to access her/his educational program for students ages 3-21 years old. Examples of services included, but not limited to, are:
Early identification and assessment of disabilities
Psychological services for educational assessment
Modification of the course material within the regular classroom
Career/vocational education for student transition to employment or higher education
Vision and hearing screening
Orientation and mobility services
